The Defenders Initiative recognizes law enforcement agencies honoring their constitutional oath to protect and to serve by working cooperatively with ICE to identify, process, and detain dangerous immigration offenders per Section 287(g).
Likewise, we expose oath breakers refusing to cooperate with this critical mission, directly undermining American citizens’ rights to safety and security!

What’s the Point?
By: LTC Allen West
What’s the point? The point is simple to comprehend. The progressive socialist leftists care more about their open borders agenda to “fundamentally transform” America than YOU and your safety and security.
And I do not need anyone with a law degree to explain this to me…it is all about common sense. It is all about protecting America and Americans. And that is why the ACRU has started its Defender Initiative, because we will call out those who expose Americans to criminal illegal immigrants and positively recognize those who do.
Do Non-State, Non-Uniformed Belligerents in America possess Constitutional Rights?
By: LTC Allen West
If you are an American citizen cooperating, enabling, aiding and abetting these groups, yes, you should be arrested on felony charges thereof, including treason, but you have constitutional rights and protections. If you are here illegally, you do not!
“The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 added Section 287(g) to the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) — authorizing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to delegate to state and local law enforcement officers the authority to perform specified immigration officer functions under the agency’s direction and oversight.
“The 287(g) Program enhances the safety and security of our nation’s communities by allowing ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) to partner with state and local law enforcement agencies to identify and remove criminal aliens who are amenable to removal from the U.S.” (ICE.gov)
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations operates three 287(g) models:

ICE acting Director Todd M. Lyons’ statement regarding US attorney’s support in Massachusetts
"Obstructing federal law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties is a crime that jeopardizes public safety and national security. The dedication of Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Leah Foley to investigate and prosecute individuals who attempt to obstruct justice is precisely the leadership we need. It is essential to remember that the law applies to everyone, including public officials, activists, private citizens and law enforcement officers, so we’re immensely grateful to see this kind of support in Boston and beyond,” said ICE acting Director Todd M.
