The American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) is dedicated to defending the constitutional rights of all Americans. ACRU stands against harmful, anti-constitutional ideologies that have taken hold in our nation’s courts, culture, and bureaucracies. We defend and promote free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment, and national sovereignty.

Attorney General Edwin Meese III, ACRU Director
“As Attorney General in the Reagan Administration, I committed myself to conserving and expanding freedom. It was my position that our Constitution, its text, and the original intention behind it, demanded nothing less. To argue otherwise would be to risk, as Abraham Lincoln said, “blowing out the moral lights around us.”
That’s why I’ve, again, taken up my sword in defense of our Constitution and am fighting a very real and present danger to our nation. I serve on the board of an efficient and important organization, the American Constitutional Rights Union. I believe strongly that partnered with ACRU we have a real chance to preserve the freedoms and liberties we hold dear.”

The Delusional and Dangerous Hypocrisy
In his inaugural address, Joe Biden gave what leftists wanted us to believe was a speech on unity. Anyone paying attention to the words and tone realized that it was a speech about conformity.
The Real Question of the 2024 Election
I will be joyous. I want a restoration of our Constitutional Republic, and that is what I am voting for. What are you voting for?
The Biggest Loser in Tuesday Night’s Presidential Debate
I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States — no statute of limitations. I take that oath seriously and wish that those who have taken it and seek to take it as president would do the same.
Hans von Spakovsky: Ode to Patrick Henry: We’re Still Fighting to Protect Our Liberty Today
Americans who are fighting the left’s attempts to restrict our liberties, destroy our culture, and manipulate our society using the imperious power of the government sometimes may forget that we’ve been struggling to preserve our liberty and freedoms from overbearing governments since the beginning of our nation.
Ken Blackwell: Stranger Danger — Protect Vulnerable Voters from Fraud
“Stranger Danger.” This phrase is used by parents to warn their children about predators. In this election year, it is also an appropriate warning for vulnerable citizens who could be targeted by activists who will try to suppress or steal their votes.
Quote of the Day
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
– Roman Statesman, Marcus Tullius Cicero
If it is not a concern for you that we are witnessing policies that bring about the destruction of our Country and disregard for our rule of law, then you should evaluate whether you fit into Cicero’s description of a traitor. No longer can we afford to operate under these rules of kindness when one side operates under the rules for radicals.
The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship

The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
Named for Robert B. Carleson, a visionary public servant who championed individual freedom and self-reliance, the scholarship will help deserving students pursue higher education while carrying forward his enduring legacy. Learn more about Robert Carleson’s impact here.

LTC West welcomes Brandon Showalter, journalist with the Christian Post to discuss the assault on parental rights. Activists are fighting hard for “rights” for children to have abortions, undergo permanent medical procedures under the umbrella of gender dysphoria, and more—all without parental knowledge, much less consent. Is the government claiming responsibility for raising your children? What about the medical establishment? Is the “first, do no harm” pillar of medical ethics a thing of the past?

LIVE FREE LOCAL
The phrase, “All politics is local,” carries a lot more weight than one might think. In the Founders’ view of our Constitutional Republic, the ultimate power rests at the most local level possible — the individual citizen. Our Constitution is carefully designed to enumerate powers we voluntarily cede to the government in a descending fashion, starting with the individual and ending with the federal government. That’s right. The real power in our country rests with the individual and then the local and state representatives they elect.
This is why the American Constitutional Rights Union started the Live Free Local initiative. Our aim is to embrace local politics and arm you with the tools to make a difference in your community and state.
ACRU EDUCATION RESOURCES AND LEGAL INITIATIVES
As the Left shamelessly schemes to prevent election integrity measures in state legislatures and abolish them with a federal power grab (H.R. 1/S. 1), their propaganda includes references to Jim Crow laws of the past. ACRU educated the public on this issue some years ago in our publication “The Truth About Jim Crow.”
We encourage you to download this important publication and share with others. It is important to remember the history of Jim Crow and to know that it has nothing to do with present day voting integrity laws. We all should agree that it should be easy to vote and hard to cheat.
