Empowering Americans to Live Free.

Attorney General Edwin Meese III, ACRU Director
“As Attorney General in the Reagan Administration, I committed myself to conserving and expanding freedom. It was my position that our Constitution, its text, and the original intention behind it, demanded nothing less. To argue otherwise would be to risk, as Abraham Lincoln said, “blowing out the moral lights around us.”
That’s why I’ve, again, taken up my sword in defense of our Constitution and am fighting a very real and present danger to our nation. I serve on the board of an efficient and important organization, the American Constitutional Rights Union. I believe strongly that partnered with ACRU we have a real chance to preserve the freedoms and liberties we hold dear.”

The Enemies of American Independence
The oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, has no expiration date. Allen West on why the Marxists and their Islamist allies now winning American elections are precisely the domestic enemies the Founders warned us about, and why it's time to name them as such.
The Law of the Land in the Land of Lincoln
In the Land of Lincoln, the Law of the Land no longer holds. Allen West on how Chicago's sanctuary policies, its war on religious liberty, and its contempt for the Second Amendment reveal a Marxist left that honors the Constitution only when it's convenient, and the deadly cost when it doesn't.
Happy Independence Day, America, Courtesy of the Chinese Communist Party
As America marks its 250th Independence Day, the Supreme Court's birthright citizenship ruling hands Beijing a gift, and China's new ethnic unity law makes its intent to dominate unmistakable. Allen West on why the CCP sits at the core of the 21st-century axis of evil.
Supreme Court to decide on racial gerrymandering in Louisiana v. Callais
At issue is Louisiana’s congressional map, which was redrawn after litigation to include a second majority-Black district, under the Voting Rights Act. Advocates of the redistricting effort said the map protects minority voting rights. In reality, it transforms the Voting Rights Act into a tool for partisan gerrymandering, forcing states to engineer partisan districts under the guise of racial equity.
ACRU Files Amicus Brief to Uphold Immigration Law
ACRU strongly believes that the rule of law is foundational to a well-functioning and safe society. ACRU asserts that without the ability to rid society of criminal aliens who have violated the law, this rule of law is unable to be upheld. ACRU further believes that state and local law enforcement is empowered to work with the federal government to uphold this rule of law, and that the ability to continue to detain criminals who are wanted by the federal government is of paramount importance.
Quote of the Day
Maybe the NAACP should issue a statement on the destruction of the traditional nuclear two-parent family in the Black community. That is probably not a realistic expectation since Black Lives Matter does not support the traditional nuclear family. Supposedly that is also a symbol of white supremacy. Or maybe the NAACP should issue a travel advisory for Blacks to states where murdering unborn black babies by dismemberment has become the number one killer of Blacks . . . over 20 million since 1973 and the Roe v. Wade court decision. That’s genocide.
The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship

The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
Named for Robert B. Carleson, a visionary public servant who championed individual freedom and self-reliance, the scholarship will help deserving students pursue higher education while carrying forward his enduring legacy. Learn more about Robert Carleson’s impact here.

ACRU Live Free TV
In this episode of Live Free TV, Colonel West cuts through the commercialization and brings you back to what this weekend actually means. He walks you onto the hallowed ground of Lexington Green, April 19, 1775, where 77 Sons of Liberty faced down a British regiment of nearly 1,000. He reads the names of the first eight Americans who fell there, men with wives, children under five, brothers fighting beside them, and tells their stories one by one.

Interview & Speaking Requests
LIVE FREE LOCAL
The phrase, “All politics is local,” carries a lot more weight than one might think. In the Founders’ view of our Constitutional Republic, the ultimate power rests at the most local level possible — the individual citizen. Our Constitution is carefully designed to enumerate powers we voluntarily cede to the government in a descending fashion, starting with the individual and ending with the federal government. That’s right. The real power in our country rests with the individual and then the local and state representatives they elect.
This is why the American Constitutional Rights Union started the Live Free Local initiative. Our aim is to embrace local politics and arm you with the tools to make a difference in your community and state.
ACRU EDUCATION RESOURCES AND LEGAL INITIATIVES
As the Left shamelessly schemes to prevent election integrity measures in state legislatures and abolish them with a federal power grab (H.R. 1/S. 1), their propaganda includes references to Jim Crow laws of the past. ACRU educated the public on this issue some years ago in our publication “The Truth About Jim Crow.”
We encourage you to download this important publication and share with others. It is important to remember the history of Jim Crow and to know that it has nothing to do with present day voting integrity laws. We all should agree that it should be easy to vote and hard to cheat.
Is protecting the very things that make this country great worth 60 seconds of your time? Great! Check out the American Constitutional Rights Union’s Live Free Minute recordings and learn more about the freedoms and liberties that make this country great — and why it’s so important to protect them.
