The American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) is dedicated to defending the constitutional rights of all Americans. ACRU stands against harmful, anti-constitutional ideologies that have taken hold in our nation’s courts, culture, and bureaucracies. We defend and promote free speech, religious liberty, the Second Amendment, and national sovereignty.

Attorney General Edwin Meese III, ACRU Director
“As Attorney General in the Reagan Administration, I committed myself to conserving and expanding freedom. It was my position that our Constitution, its text, and the original intention behind it, demanded nothing less. To argue otherwise would be to risk, as Abraham Lincoln said, “blowing out the moral lights around us.”
That’s why I’ve, again, taken up my sword in defense of our Constitution and am fighting a very real and present danger to our nation. I serve on the board of an efficient and important organization, the American Constitutional Rights Union. I believe strongly that partnered with ACRU we have a real chance to preserve the freedoms and liberties we hold dear.”

Duty, Honor, Country
If we are to Live Free, well, we must embrace the three words, Duty, Honor, Country. These are the words we still embrace at the American Constitutional Rights Union’s Committee to Support and Defend. Furthermore, we must not allow those who see these words as meaningless to rule and lord over us.
Why We Remember to Honor and Preserve
We must remember to honor and preserve that which is exceptional about our country, and those who sacrificed to make it so.
The State of the Union Ain’t Strong and Certainly Not Getting Stronger
Listening intently to Biden's address, it appears that the answer to everything is more government intervention and control.
Quote of the Day
Each of us, even though we have the right to, cannot operate in a civil society seeking our own means of defense of these unalienable rights. Therefore, individuals grant this individual right to a collective organization, meaning consent of the governed, to defend and protect those rights. That is the purpose of the law. That is what the government is established to do. That is the premise of our Declaration of Independence. Government does not exist to usurp individual unalienable rights; it exists to protect them. That is why our Constitution, our rule of law, establishes this in its first ten amendments, our individual Bill of Rights.
The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship

The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
Named for Robert B. Carleson, a visionary public servant who championed individual freedom and self-reliance, the scholarship will help deserving students pursue higher education while carrying forward his enduring legacy. Learn more about Robert Carleson’s impact here.

Leftist "woke" policies are decimating our military. On this episode of Live Free TV, LTC Allen West explores the shocking destruction of our state of military readiness. From policies that exempt transgender servicemembers from physical fitness tests to deliberate moves to prevent enlistment from proud generational military family members, the military's priorities have moved away from their core mission of defending this country.

LIVE FREE LOCAL
The phrase, “All politics is local,” carries a lot more weight than one might think. In the Founders’ view of our Constitutional Republic, the ultimate power rests at the most local level possible — the individual citizen. Our Constitution is carefully designed to enumerate powers we voluntarily cede to the government in a descending fashion, starting with the individual and ending with the federal government. That’s right. The real power in our country rests with the individual and then the local and state representatives they elect.
This is why the American Constitutional Rights Union started the Live Free Local initiative. Our aim is to embrace local politics and arm you with the tools to make a difference in your community and state.
ACRU EDUCATION RESOURCES AND LEGAL INITIATIVES
As the Left shamelessly schemes to prevent election integrity measures in state legislatures and abolish them with a federal power grab (H.R. 1/S. 1), their propaganda includes references to Jim Crow laws of the past. ACRU educated the public on this issue some years ago in our publication “The Truth About Jim Crow.”
We encourage you to download this important publication and share with others. It is important to remember the history of Jim Crow and to know that it has nothing to do with present day voting integrity laws. We all should agree that it should be easy to vote and hard to cheat.
Is protecting the very things that make this country great worth 60 seconds of your time? Great!
