Empowering Americans to Live Free.

Attorney General Edwin Meese III, ACRU Director
“As Attorney General in the Reagan Administration, I committed myself to conserving and expanding freedom. It was my position that our Constitution, its text, and the original intention behind it, demanded nothing less. To argue otherwise would be to risk, as Abraham Lincoln said, “blowing out the moral lights around us.”
That’s why I’ve, again, taken up my sword in defense of our Constitution and am fighting a very real and present danger to our nation. I serve on the board of an efficient and important organization, the American Constitutional Rights Union. I believe strongly that partnered with ACRU we have a real chance to preserve the freedoms and liberties we hold dear.”

What do Democrats Prioritize?
As we enter into 2026, the year that will welcome America's 250th celebration of Independence, and a critical midterm election, there is a simple question. What do Democrats prioritize?
Why America has the Second Amendment
19 April 1775. On that day, there was no American Army, Navy, or Marine Corps; matter of fact, there was no America. However, there was an understanding that armed individuals could be free citizens who attain liberty; disarmed individuals can only be subjects.
America’s 21st Century National Security Strategy
"A Nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious, but it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through the alleys, and heard in the very halls of government itself."
Major League Baseball Is the Latest Brand Humbled by Anti-Pride Outrage
At a pitifully attended pre-game ceremony, the team raced to get a controversial award off its hands before people could come in and boo. While thousands protested outside the gates, management made the telling decision to recognize the LGBT group, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, before a virtually empty arena. As Breitbart’s Dylan Gwinn put it, “To say there were more reporters in attendance than fans … would not be a major exaggeration.”
The Supreme Court’s Ruling on Race-Based Redistricting Is a Real Head-Scratcher
Chief Justice John Roberts made a major error in judgment last week in rejecting the State of Alabama’s 2022 congressional redistricting plan in Allen v. Milligan, an error that, as dissenting Justice Samuel Alito says, puts the Voting Rights Act “on a perilous and unfortunate path.”
Quote of the Day
We are taught as Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines that we have the right to refusal of any order that is unlawful. This directive from Joe Biden to deploy US military troops to further the invasion of illegal immigrants is indeed unlawful, unconstitutional. Our troops have the right of refusal to deploy, just as our US Border Patrol agents who are charged with protecting our border have right of refusal.
And we wonder why recruitment and retention in our Armed Forces is lagging?
The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship

The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
Named for Robert B. Carleson, a visionary public servant who championed individual freedom and self-reliance, the scholarship will help deserving students pursue higher education while carrying forward his enduring legacy. Learn more about Robert Carleson’s impact here.

LIVE FREE LOCAL
The phrase, “All politics is local,” carries a lot more weight than one might think. In the Founders’ view of our Constitutional Republic, the ultimate power rests at the most local level possible — the individual citizen. Our Constitution is carefully designed to enumerate powers we voluntarily cede to the government in a descending fashion, starting with the individual and ending with the federal government. That’s right. The real power in our country rests with the individual and then the local and state representatives they elect.
This is why the American Constitutional Rights Union started the Live Free Local initiative. Our aim is to embrace local politics and arm you with the tools to make a difference in your community and state.
ACRU EDUCATION RESOURCES AND LEGAL INITIATIVES
As the Left shamelessly schemes to prevent election integrity measures in state legislatures and abolish them with a federal power grab (H.R. 1/S. 1), their propaganda includes references to Jim Crow laws of the past. ACRU educated the public on this issue some years ago in our publication “The Truth About Jim Crow.”
We encourage you to download this important publication and share with others. It is important to remember the history of Jim Crow and to know that it has nothing to do with present day voting integrity laws. We all should agree that it should be easy to vote and hard to cheat.
Is protecting the very things that make this country great worth 60 seconds of your time? Great!
