The Law
When President Trump asked members of Congress during his State of the Union address to stand if they believed the government’s duty is to protect American citizens over illegal aliens, the silence from the left was striking. That moment raises a deeper constitutional question about the true purpose of government. From the Constitution’s Guarantee Clause to the natural rights philosophy of John Locke and the principles expressed in the Declaration of Independence, the American system is built on the idea that government exists to protect the life, liberty, and property of its citizens. When elected officials place ideological agendas above the law and refuse to support enforcement of immigration statutes, it raises serious concerns about the rule of law itself—and whether some lawmakers have forgotten the fundamental responsibility they were elected to uphold.
Ohio’s constitution is far too easy to amend
The U.S. Constitution, carefully crafted for durability, has allowed our nation to flourish for the past 245 years. In large measure, that’s due to the fact that it’s not easy to amend. One of the weaknesses of Ohio’s constitution, on the other hand, is that currently it is far too easy to amend.
Election Integrity: One Illegal Vote Can Change an Election
Most people in the media don’t want you to believe that election crimes are committed. They say it is easier to find Bigfoot. But election crimes are not a myth, and The Heritage Foundation has been systematically documenting them for years. When those who deny the crimes occur are forced to confront the data, the response sometimes shifts to “It doesn’t matter anyway.” After all, does it really matter if a single vote is improperly or criminally cast?

The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship
The American Constitutional Rights Union is proud to announce the creation of The Robert B. Carleson Freedom Scholarship, honoring our founder’s lifelong dedication to liberty, limited government, and the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning in January 2026, this scholarship will be awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.

The Defenders Initiative recognizes law enforcement agencies honoring their constitutional oath to protect and to serve by working cooperatively with ICE to identify, process, and detain dangerous immigration offenders per Section 287(g).

As the Left shamelessly schemes to prevent election integrity measures in state legislatures and abolish them with a federal power grab (H.R. 1/S. 1), their propaganda includes references to Jim Crow laws of the past.
