ICE removes criminal alien wanted for drug trafficking in Costa Rica
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed Josseth Santos-Fonseca, a 30-year-old Costa Rican citizen, to his home country where he faces drug trafficking charges. Santos had entered the United States illegally near Laredo, Texas in 2018 and was apprehended by Border Patrol before being ordered removed by an immigration judge. His removal was subsequently carried out after Costa Rican authorities sought his return to face prosecution.
