Our organization, the American Constitutional Rights Union, was founded in 1999 and originally known as the American Civil Rights Union. It was established by former members of the Reagan administration, Edwin Meese and Robert Carlson. The intent was to have an organization countering the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in focusing on the constitutional rights of Americans. Our organization changed its name to the American Constitutional Rights Union to emphasize this point.

If one ever wanted to understand the contrast between us, the ACRU, and the ACLU, the time is now. We started our ACRU Defender Initiative because of the actions of the ACLU as a Marxist organization that is waging a legal insurrection against American law enforcement agencies. It appears that the ACLU is confused about its name; perhaps it should be changed to IICLU, Illegal Immigrant Civil Liberties Union. Why? Because all across America, the ACLU is attacking our law enforcement agencies on behalf of people who have broken our laws. The ACLU is supporting and defending those who have violated our Constitution, undermined our national sovereignty, and committed crimes against Americans.

One has to ask, why is the ACLU, and the Marxist left in America, so adamant about supporting illegal immigrants? One would think that the ACLU would be advocating for American citizens who have been adversely affected by illegal immigrants. Where was the ACLU when millions of illegal immigrants were unconstitutionally being allowed entry into our Republic?

Now, the ACLU has gone full metal jacket against law enforcement who are enforcing the law; one can only surmise that the ACLU has no regard for the rule of law.

The law enforcement agencies of Geauga County, Ohio, Pima County, Arizona, and Las Vegas Metro Police are being sued by the ACLU for their refusal to release illegal immigrant records. Why does the ACLU require the records of those in our Nation illegally? Perhaps they fail to comprehend that the very act of crossing illegally into America is a felony offense. As well, those requesting political asylum are supposed to do so at the first point of entry of a foreign nation; you do not skip four, five, or six Nations and then declare political asylum. As well, seeking to escape violence is not a viable reason for asylum…in that case, folks in Chicago, a leftist-run city, should be seeking asylum.

Why isn’t the ACLU working with ICE to find the nearly 300,000 unaccompanied illegal immigrant minors in the United States? I am sure the ACLU is seeking to bring lawsuits against ICE in California, even after they found unaccompanied illegal immigrant minors working at a marijuana farm.

It should come as no surprise that the ACLU has filed lawsuits against the Department of Homeland Security and the Director of Alligator Alcatraz in Florida. Why? The ACLU feels that the illegal immigrants lack legal counsel. Let us not forget that leftist groups were meeting with illegal immigrants south of our border, and coaching them on the right verbiage to use in order to gain entry into our Nation. The ACLU believes it is more important to get legal representation to criminal illegal immigrants and to those who have violated judicial warrants for removal. Why does the ACLU not bring a lawsuit against former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for violating his constitutional duty?

The Bucks County (PA), Nassau County (NY) Sheriff’s office and the Commissioners in Nassau County are being sued by the ACLU because they are cooperating with ICE. Again, I must stress, the ACLU is filing lawsuits against law enforcement enforcing the law. The only thing one can deduce is that the ACLU is not concerned about adherence to the rule of law. The ACLU only supports Marxist rule. I do not say so lightly, but the fact that the ACLU is suing the Sheriff of Carver County (MN) for handing over a criminal illegal immigrant to ICE is proof positive.

But it is not just the ACLU, but another Marxist group called Democracy Forward (the term “forward” was used by Barack Obama and has ties back to the communist Soviet Union), is suing to keep ICE out of courtrooms. Let’s not forget the Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan, who was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice for aiding and abetting a criminal illegal immigrant in escaping from her court in order to evade arrest by federal immigration agents. These leftists want to harbor criminal illegal immigrants and shield them even in the place where our laws are supposed to be adjudicated.

We here at the ACRU, the American Constitutional Rights Union, stand against the ACLU in each of these instances.

We denounce the efforts of the ACLU to dismiss our rule of law over their Marxist ideological agenda. We firmly condemn the ACLU and its legal insurrection against our law enforcement agencies and officers. The ACLU no longer stands with the American people. They have decided to take a stand with murderers, rapists, child sex offenders, domestic abusers, and terrorists. For four years, the ACLU remained silent as the Biden administration violated our Constitution and enabled an invasion that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans due to fentanyl chemical poisoning. The ACLU is a despicable and disgusting group of leftist lemmings, no different from groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), who only seek to advance a leftist ideological agenda.
