There is a time when what needs to be said must be said. And as my Dad, the ol’ World War II Corporal Buck West, would say, “Boy, a hit dog will holler.” So many are pondering why it is that members of the Democrat party, aka progressive socialist leftists, are not denouncing the violence in the firebombing of Tesla dealerships. The answer is quite simple: they embrace and condone this violence and will always justify it because that is the only way leftists advance their ideological agenda. Of course, they will be the ones who will always display unrighteous indignation and proclaim some absurd sense of aggrieved status and then denigrate everyone else as white supremacists, domestic terrorists (ya know, like parents who protest DEI/CRT at school board meetings), and insurrectionists.

Truth be told, what is happening and is playing out before our eyes is an unholy alliance in actions and ideology of leftists and Islamic jihadists. Perhaps this is why we see leftists more than willing to bond with a vicious terrorist group like Hamas.

Leftists and jihadists, notice I did not say Muslims, for those who will try to assail this missive are aligned in that their ideology becomes their religion. And if you dare reject their ideology, then you reject their fundamental beliefs, and therefore, you MUST be prosecuted and persecuted. Any student of Islamic jihadism and the Hadiths of Mohammed knows of his letter sent, circa 628 AD, to Heraclius, the Byzantine Emperor. The letter articulated the three options offered by jihadists to this day: convert, subjugate, or be destroyed. Even the deceased terrorist leader of Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, wrote a similar letter to then-U.S. President George Bush. Yes, it is, as George Santayana asserted, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Leftists here in America have adopted the same mantra. How else does one explain a political philosophy and a party that was so resoundingly defeated last November that has quadrupled down in its attacks? The leftist response to the endeavor of restoring constitutional governance and governmental efficiency is to attack the individual leading the effort…by destroying property, endangering lives, and celebrating it. Government and centralized control is the religion of the left, and you must convert (accept), subjugate yourself (relinquish your freedoms), or be destroyed. Just as with jihadists, we see leftists resorting to violence by way of groups (leftist jihadists) like Antifa. And, just like with jihadists, denial is the response…Congressman Jerrold Nadler dismissed the group. Leftists are taking to the streets to support Mahmoud Khalil, delusionally bestowing upon him a “right to free speech.” But, if Americans speak out against covid, they must be censored.

Leftists and jihadists also share the common belief in anti-Semitism. I find it rather comical that leftists are always condemning everyone else as “Nazis.” The reference stood for National Socialists…conservatives ain’t national socialists. And let’s remember that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in the 1920s, appointed by the British, was one Mohammed Amin al-Husseini. He was aligned with the upstart jihadist Granddaddy group, the Muslim Brotherhood and was a virulent “Palestinian Arab” nationalist. It was al-Husseini who met with one Adolf Hitler because they both shared the demonic desire to eradicate the Jewish people. Mohammed Amin al-Husseini was the Uncle to Yassar Arafat, a darling of the left and a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize…yes, leftists awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to an Islamic terrorist leader. That is what the PLO was; today, we know them as Fatah…the Palestinian Authority. And they are still darlings of the left, Arafat enjoyed countless visits to the White House.

Leftists, just as with jihadists, believe in totalitarian control based on their religion. For the leftists, it is same-sex marriage, gender dysphoria, climate change, and dismembering babies in the womb, and there is no dissent from these positions. I do find it laughable when I see “Gays for Gaza,” concrete evidence of derangement. Only leftists would seek to tell healthy people to remain in their homes, homes where they determine what you can drive, the type of stove you can have, how much water you can flush, or use to wash your dishes and clothes. Jihadists embrace the same abject control and do not recognize individual rights, freedoms, and liberties. Nope, you are just part of a collective…much like the Borg from Star Trek: Next Generation. No challenging thought, expression, or ideals.

Another point of alignment in the unholy alliance between leftists and jihadists is the issue of apostasy. Islamic jihadists see anyone departing from their religion as an apostate, and the punishment is death. I remember the case of one Abdul Rahman while I was assigned to Afghanistan. Rahman was arrested by Afghan authorities for the crime of apostasy and threatened with the death penalty. He had converted to Christianity…the utter hypocrisy, to demand conversion but not accept it. His conversion came while providing medical assistance to Afghan refugees in Pakistan. His arrest and trial came in February 2006, but due to international pressure, he was released in March 2006. I remember asking ourselves, why were we in Afghanistan fighting for their freedom when we were told that our religious freedom was restricted? Sound familiar?

For leftists in America, they also hold contempt for apostates, leftists who convert to constitutional conservatism. If you do not believe me, let’s go back to the domestic terrorism and violence against Tesla dealerships. Funny, huh, marking Teslas with swastika’s when leftists are aligned with National Socialism. Ask Tulsi Gabbard, who not too long ago stood on a debate stage running as a Democrat presidential contender. Ask anyone who, much like Saul, had a road to Damascus moment and had the conversion from the darkness to the light. He became Paul, formerly one of the great persecutors of Christians.

Perhaps this writing was uncomfortable for some, but I truly do not care. I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If leftists in America seek to align themselves with the actions, practices, and beliefs of Islamic jihadists, well, my oath has no statute of limitations. No surrender, no retreat, no converting, no subjugation, and I will not allow your wanton violence…and there are many others who feel the same. Don’t believe me; they spoke up last November.

If leftists continue to believe in open borders and allowing criminal illegal immigrants and terrorists to find sanctuary in our Country, we, true Americans, are left with no other recourse than to see you as enemies of our Constitutional Republic and do what is required to serve, protect, and defend our Nation.
