I have always considered it rather oxymoronic — emphasis on moron — that a group would name itself Antifa, meaning anti-fascist, yet go about beating up people with whom they disagree. The fact that we have a government that does the same, in a different manner, is very disconcerting. It has been thoroughly revealed in several court cases that the Biden administration colluded with private sector media outlets to suppress the right of free speech and expression of Americans. Heck, former Biden administration White House mouthpiece, Jen Psaki, admitted such from the podium.

Recently on our Steadfast and Loyal podcast I had Dr. Naomi Wolf, on and amazingly enough she has been the target of vast suppression of her freedom of speech and expression . . . as so many have over these past three years. In fact, YouTube removed our interview before we could release it. This was all because we refused to be mindless lemmings and challenged, rightfully so, the narrative about COVID and the shot. One has to ask, why do we have a government that fears truth? Yes, those who were censored, shut down, and ostracized, have been vilified without any doubt.

The Hunter Biden laptop is not Russian disinformation, so why did we have the now Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, gather 51 signatures from government intelligence officials declaring such?

The First Amendment rights we possess as Americans are a cornerstone to our Republic, and its representative democracy. These efforts by the progressive socialist leftists, Marxists, and their willing accomplices in the traditional and social media outlets, to undermine these constitutional rights are truly a threat to our existence as free people.

It cannot be debated, our very own federal government, namely the Biden administration, has sought to create an Orwellian type of ministry of speech, big brother. They are the true fascists, totalitarians, who will not tolerate any opposing views, perspectives, assessments, analysis, and insights to exist. It is highly disturbing that we have come to this point in America, and that there are those who believe they are right in suppressing our enshrined right to free speech.

Fortunately, the leftists do not control the US House of Representatives, and this has allowed for a deep dive into the darkness of the left, and their tyrannical designs. I find it interesting that the leftist media outlet, the Washington (com)Post, has a motto that says, “Democracy dies in darkness.” The First Amendment affirms the freedom of the press, an objective, not ideological press, so why was the reporting of the New York Post censored? Well, the best disinfectant is sunlight, and we are being illuminated, and exposed, to the deep stench of leftist goals and objectives. I for one will not succumb, acquiesce, surrender, nor appease this evil.

And it appears that we have some on Capitol Hill who will not either.

This past week, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, introduced the Free Speech Protection Act, which will prohibit executive branch employees and contractors from using their positions to censor and otherwise attack speech protected by the First Amendment. The bill will also impose mandatory severe penalties for those executive branch employees who censor speech.

“Censorship is a major threat to freedom today. It is clear that Big Government must be more transparent, and that bureaucrats must be held accountable for censorship. The Free Speech Protection Act accomplishes that and gives individuals remedies for censorship to protect vital First Amendment freedoms,” said Chairman Jim Jordan.

“Americans are free people and we do not take infringements upon our liberties lightly. The time has come for resistance and to reclaim our God-given right to free expression,” said Senator Paul. “Under my Free Speech Protection Act the government will no longer be able to cloak itself in secrecy to undermine the First Amendment rights of Americans.”

“No other administration in history has threatened Americans’ freedom of speech like the Biden Administration, and we have an obligation to the American people to uphold the fundamental principles of our Constitution. When I was Missouri’s Attorney General, I filed Missouri v. Biden that exposed this censorship, and now I’m proud to join Senator Paul and Representative Jordan in working to dismantle this vast censorship enterprise. This censorship should scare every American – regardless of political affiliation, and government does not get to outsource their censorship to social media companies,” said Sen. Eric Schmitt.

As part of protecting Americans’ First Amendment rights, the bill would also:

• Mandate frequent publicly accessible reports from the heads of executive branch agencies detailing the communications between an executive branch agency and Big Tech.
• Ensure that federal grant money is not misused to label media organizations as sources of misinformation or disinformation.
• Terminate several programs and authorities that threaten free speech and other constitutionally protected rights.

It is imperative that we all contact our congressional representatives and tell them to sign on as cosponsors of this legislation. It will be very telling when this bill comes to the House floor for a vote, and whether or not it sees he light of day in the Chuck Schumer leftist-controlled US Senate. Regardless, we have a mission, and that is to ensure that come next year, these leftists, totalitarians, are voted out of power. If we fail, then we will only deserve what we get as a nation. As well, going through the primary process, we must select those who are willing to identify this domestic enemy, clear and present, and will stand with the American people to restore our constitutional rights, freedoms, and liberties. No more must we accept go along to get along politicians, we need constitutional warriors who will reestablish the rightful relationship between government and the people, meaning that government exists by the consent of us, the governed . . . and that we are not to be ruled.

Here at the American Constitutional Rights Union, our motto is “Live Free.” Words to live by. There is no possibility of living freely if you are not allowed to freely speak and express your thoughts and opinions. That is censorship, and something fascists do. We can no longer equivocate on the issue, the progressive socialist leftists are indeed the antithesis of our Constitution. Heck, there are even so-called “legal scholars” in California now advocating for Joe Biden to disregard SCOTUS decisions that he doesn’t like. Talk about a threat to our Republic!
