The legal challenges to President Trump’s immigration executive order regarding terror-prone nations should be dismissed from court for all the reasons the U.S. Justice Department explains in its Supreme Court legal brief. But if the justices get past those issues to rule on the merits of the case, they should conclude that Executive Order 13780 is fully consistent with federal law and the U.S. Constitution, according to a brief submitted Aug. 17, 2017 by the American Civil Rights Union.
