Message to American companies: quit suppressing speech!

Free speech is not just a Constitutional protection that protects us from government tyranny, but it is a guiding principle of our society and a cornerstone of our liberty. One group of Americans with one ideological belief system should not use their power to suppress the speech of others. A number of conservative constitutionalists have come together to hold US corporations accountable when they become weaponized corporate tools of the left.

Flickertail State further codifies the individual rights of the faithful

Kudos to North Dakota legislators for pushing a bill that that will restrict state bureaucrats from blocking worship and religious practices during a state of emergency while ensuring that participation in faith activities is not treated with punitive bias. In theory, Constitutional rights should not need “extra” state protections, but we have learned that they do. Other states should follow suit.

Michigan AG arrests woman business owner for …. appearing on Tucker Carlson?

Perhaps the only politician in Michigan less concerned with individual rights and economic freedom than Gov. Whitmer is her despotic AG, Dana Nessell. Ms. Marlena Pavlos-Hackney (who fled communist rule only to find it again in Michigan) appeared on Fox and complained of the Governor’s treatment of small businesses, and then was arrested with the AG noting that her TV appearance was a problem. You can read Ms. Nessell’s statement in this article; a paraphrase just can’t cover the vitriol and inappropriateness of her position.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a national lead in opposing a federal takeover of your private life and personal decisions through a “vaccine passport.” The Governor issued an Executive Order banning this encroachment on more rights than we can count. We hope other governors follow his lead in defending the Constitution and their constituents and that the Florida legislature turns the language in this executive order into some strong legislation.

Media Availability: ACRU’s Blackwell on Corporate ‘Wokesters’ Reaction to Voter ID Laws

Naples, FL—American Constitutional Rights Union Policy Board Member Ken Blackwell castigates Georgia-based companies like Coca-Cola, Delta, and also Major League Baseball for giving into the woke mob over their unfounded objections to new ballot safeguards its state leaders passed.

In his most recent article for Breitbart, he notes these companies capitulated to tyrants, who are using false allegations of racism as an intimidation tool.

“Corporatist wokesters have been sucked in by Joe Biden’s ‘big lie’: that these laws are racist to the point of being “Jim Crow on steroids,” says Blackwell.

“Those of us who lived under Jim Crow segregation, and in modern times have the everyday experience of […]

The Moment Rose Wilder Lane’s Faith in Communism Was Pierced

No one understands the dangers of creeping socialism and communism better than those who have lived under it, but also those who once supported it but turned to individual liberty and economic freedom instead. Such is the case of Rose Wilder Lane (daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder.) Her journey from communism to freedom is brilliant, and a story still needing to be told.

On March 18, the West Virginia Senate passed a landmark education bill to create the nation's largest education savings account (ESA) program, which would let parents withdraw their children from public schools and allow them to take the funds that would have been spent by the state and spend them on private school tuition, tutoring, or homeschooling expenses.

How The Equality Act Would Legalize Religious Bigotry

By |2023-03-06T12:06:43-05:00March 31st, 2021|

The Founding Fathers recognized freedom of expression and religious liberty as core elements of diversity and tolerance. Now, nearly 250 years later, Congress is acting to stamp them out, ushering in a new era of government-sanctioned anti-religious bigotry.
