By |2023-03-06T12:06:33-05:00April 27th, 2021|

Many on the left claim that voting integrity measures, such as voter ID, are throwbacks to the Jim Crow era. Since Jim Crow laws were enacted by Southern Democrats to force racial segregation and block economic and political power among Black Americans, Democrats should know their current claims are preposterous. As the old saying goes, “they have a lot of nerve.”

ACRU’s Blackwell: Goodbye, Election Day. Hello Corrupt Politicians Act

By |2023-03-06T12:06:35-05:00April 22nd, 2021|

A notorious bill moving through Congress – H.R. 1 – contains a swarm of bad ideas. But little noticed is a provision that makes Election Day obsolete. We’ve lost so many unifying cultural events that bring Americans together, it is no surprise that H.R.1 not only would start the election weeks earlier, but also prolong the election well after Election Day.

ACRU’s Blackwell: American Exceptionalism in Crosshairs of Radical Left

By |2023-03-06T12:06:38-05:00April 13th, 2021|

ACRU'S Amb. Ken Blackwell is the face of today's battle for liberty and the very essence of our rights -- which are being chipped away by the left and their political allies. As Amb. Blackwell notes in this brilliant piece, "Democrats’ Corrupt Politicians Act (aka "For the People Act") pending in the Senate is a frontal assault on our Constitution’s federalist recipe for freedom, putting Congress in complete control of its own elections."

ACRU’s Blackwell: The Left’s Hoodwinking of America

By |2023-03-06T12:06:45-05:00March 23rd, 2021|

In his latest blockbuster piece, ACRU Policy Board Member Ken Blackwell likens the suppression of voice and vote during the Nazi regime to the falsely named For the People's Act, proposed by liberals and awaiting Senate action. It is important that every American understand its dangerous implications and the ease in which it would usher in political corruption and totalitarian one-party rule.
