Sympathy for the Devil

Howdy folks, perhaps you remember the 1968 song by the Rolling Stones. No, I am not going to be lauding satanists. But, you should remember that Hillary Clinton had a mentor by the name of Saul Alinsky, who dedicated his book, “Rules for Radicals,” to Lucifer. And of course, that book is the Marxist leftist blueprint for America.

So, why did I title this missive based upon a song by Mick Jagger and crew? In order to shift the narrative from the failed Biden administration Operation Allies Welcome and the fateful shooting of two West Virginia National Guardsmen, Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, who tragically lost her life on Thanksgiving, and Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, the leftists have offered sympathy for the devil. All of a sudden, these deranged progressives are caring about narco-terrorists who lost their lives seeking to infiltrate this Country with their version of a weapon of mass destruction, drugs.

Now, the hypocrisy of this whole episode is laughable when one considers how Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama, kept a “kill list” in the Oval Office and personally ordered drone strikes. One of which targeted and killed an American in Yemen, not that I care, since he was a declared enemy of this Nation. But, where were the leftists calling for investigations? And then there were the members of our elite U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six, previously demonized during the Bush-Cheney administration, who double-tapped ol’ Osama Bin Laden, and smoked his son. Where was the left crying a foul then?

The whole kerfuffle about what SecDef Hegseth said or didn’t say is just a bunch of political distraction, just like the Epstein files after the government shutdown debacle. But this does offer a chance to have a very necessary discussion about a topic we must resolve.

How does the United States deal with non-state, non-uniform unlawful combatants?

I chose these words carefully because they matter. Terrorists are best defined as such; they are not members of any recognized nation-state, unless we are stupid enough to create a so-called Palestinian state. Terrorists do not wear the uniform of any defined nation-state; they may come up with their own garb, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, but, again, it is not associated with a nation.

A member of the U.S. Armed Forces has U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, or U.S. Coast Guard on their uniform, along with their name. Those who are part of a defined state’s armed services, who wear a common uniform, and openly carry their weapons and arms are recognized by the Law of Land Warfare as “lawful combatants.” And, as lawful combatants, they are afforded what is termed “combatant privilege.” Go back and read about the Geneva Convention protections.

However, non-state, non-uniform belligerents on the battlefield, terrorists, are not afforded combatant privilege because they are unlawful combatants. For far too long, we have dealt with terrorists via a system of legalistic law enforcement procedures. Now, we can’t go out and string ’em up or whack off limbs. Heck, it might even be considered torture to force them to watch recurring episodes of The View. During Operation Just Cause, we blasted 24/7 loud rock and roll music until Manuel Noriega could not take it anymore. Unlawful combatants should not be afforded constitutional rights, the same as an American citizen. They have no “equal protection under the law,” and that goes for those who have entered our country illegally, evidencing their dismissal of our very basic laws of national sovereignty.

Why should we show sympathy for the devils who have wrought immense death upon the American people? Narco-terrorists are responsible for the proliferation of fentanyl into our land, which, just during the Biden administration, took the lives of over 250K Americans. Just to put that into a comparative analysis, America had 37K dead during the Korean War, and 55K died during the Vietnam War. In Korea, we were fighting against the North Koreans and the Chinese. In Vietnam, we faced a state-supported unlawful combatant, the Viet Cong, and the North Vietnamese Army. But, in four years, unlawful combatants, supported by China, killed a quarter of a million Americans.

Yes, we are on a battlefield on our shores. Tren de Aragua, single military-aged Chinese males, and Islamic jihadists have all invaded our Nation, thanks to Autopen and Kamala. So, you may ask the question, how do we deal with the unlawful combatants in our country? Well, we just need to go back to World War II for a great example.

It was called Operation Pastorius. Eight Nazi saboteurs landed on American coasts, at Amagansett, NY and Ponte Vedra, Florida, in 1942. There were two teams of four with the mission to destroy American infrastructure, industrial plants, bridges, and railroads. All eight were captured by the FBI after one of the unlawful combatants, George John Dasch, turned himself in and revealed the plot. Perhaps there were some psychological intimidation tactics used? All eight were tried by a military tribunal, not some civilian court with activist lawyers. Six of the eight were executed by electric chair, months after being captured, and two were given life sentences. Hmm, how long have we been monkeying around Khalid Sheik Muhammad, architect of 9-11?

I have no sympathy for unlawful enemy combatants. Matter of fact, they are the worst among us because they expose innocent civilians to harm and danger, ala Gaza and Hamas. It has been necessary for this Nation to develop a legal ROE on the dispensation of unlawful combatants OCONUS and CONUS. The absurdity of believing we need to read Miranda rights to these demons has to come to an end. There has to be a message sent, especially here in America, if you are here illegally and acting as an unlawful combatant, meaning bringing harm to Americans, you will be dealt with swiftly.

I would say shame on the Marxist leftists for sympathizing with narco-terrorists, unlawful combatants, but these cretins have proven over and over again that their ideological agenda is more important than the safety and security of American citizens, along with our men and women in uniform.

And speaking of uniforms, I would be more than happy to purchase a U.S. Navy dress uniform for CAPT. Mark Kelly for his courts-martial under the UCMJ.

Steadfast and Loyal.
