ICE arrests accused child rapist in State College

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Julio Cesar Henao-Cordoba, a 38-year-old Colombian citizen wanted by Panama for aggravated rape of a minor, outside his residence in State College on March 14. Henao had been previously encountered by Border Patrol in 2022 and was enrolled in an alternatives to detention program before being detained following this arrest.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Philadelphia removed Jeovann Anthony Forde, a citizen of Jamaica with a final order of removal, to his home country on March 27. Forde is a foreign fugitive wanted by law enforcement authorities in Jamaica for murder. An immigration judge in Philadelphia ordered Forde removed from the United States to Jamaica.

ICE New England administratively arrested an illegally present Guatemalan national who had recently been charged and released on bond in the State of Rhode Island for allegedly engaging a minor for the purpose of sex. Josue Santiago Perez Gomez, 29, was taken into ICE custody on July 12, one day after he was arrested by local authorities in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, on charges of patronizing a minor for commercial sex, indecent solicitation of a child, and procurement of sexual conduct for a fee.

A federal grand jury in Rhode Island has indicted Manuel Yochuzga-Yopangue, a/k/a Manuel Yupangui, 34, a citizen of Ecuador, on a charge of illegal re-entry after having been previously deported in August 2008. He came to the attention of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement through an automated biometric fingerprint match following his arrest on state child molestation charges in May 2025. The case was announced by Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul F. Daly, Jr.

Guatemalan National Illegally in the United States Indicted for Impeding and Assaulting Federal Agents

A federal grand jury in Rhode Island has indicted Miguel Tamup-Tamup, a/k/a Miguel US Tamup, 28, an illegally present Guatemalan national, on two counts of assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, or interfering with federal officers engaged in official duties. He allegedly struggled with an ICE deportation officer and Homeland Security Investigations agents as they attempted to apprehend him pursuant to an arrest warrant on April 30, 2024, and an HSI agent suffered a serious injury during the encounter. Prior to the federal charges, Tamup-Tamup had been arrested on April 19, 2025 on a charge of driving under the influence after his car allegedly collided with another vehicle.

Pedro Andony Alvarado Aguilar, 46, a Guatemalan national previously convicted in federal court in Connecticut on charges of conspiracy to import cocaine and heroin, has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Rhode Island to a charge of illegal re-entry. He was deported on July 1, 2015 following his 2014 drug trafficking conviction, but immigration officers identified him in April 2025 through an automated biometric fingerprint match after his arrest in Rhode Island for driving on a suspended license.

ICE Boston removes fugitive convicted of armed robbery in Brazil

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed a 29-year-old illegal Brazilian fugitive, Juliano Araujo Dos Santos Silva, who was wanted by authorities to serve more than five years in prison for an armed robbery conviction in his native country. ICE Boston removed him from the United States to Brazil on March 27 and turned him over to Brazilian authorities. A Brazilian criminal court had convicted Araujo of armed robbery with a firearm on Oct. 2, 2017 and sentenced him to five years and four months in prison; he had subsequently entered the United States illegally in 2019 and attempted to evade justice by hiding in New England.

ICE Boston arrests illegal Honduran national charged with child trafficking crimes in Rhode Island

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in partnership with the DEA and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, apprehended an illegally present Honduran alien charged with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and trafficking of a minor. Officials with ICE Boston, DEA New England, and ATF Boston arrested Vivian Gisselle Soriano-Neto in Providence on March 11. Soriano had originally been arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on October 25, 2017 after illegally entering the United States at the Calexico, California Port of Entry.

ICE Atlanta arrested this 50-year-old Mexican national in September 2025 for violent criminal activity. He has been convicted of voluntary manslaughter in Hardeeville, South Carolina, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The agency lists him among its most wanted fugitives.
