U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Philadelphia office removed Giyosiddin Ergashev, an Uzbekistan citizen wanted by local law enforcement for fraud, on May 29. Ergashev was initially arrested by U.S. Border Patrol near San Luis, Arizona in February 2023 for entering the country without inspection. An immigration judge ordered his removal to Uzbekistan on February 18, 2025.
