ICE Buffalo arrested a 33-year-old Salvadoran national on July 23, 2025, upon his release from New York State corrections custody. The individual had been convicted of seven counts of rape, two counts of using a child in a sexual performance, four counts of sexual abuse, and additional related offenses. An immigration judge had already ordered his removal from the United States in December 2024.

A search of a residence yielded a revolver, ammunition, and crack cocaine. Ibrahim had prior felony convictions in 2022 and 2024 that legally prohibited him from possessing firearms or ammunition.
