Perhaps some of you may recall that this whole idea of taxing income began in the early 1900s, circa 1917. Prior to taxing Americans based upon their income, taxation was based upon consumption, what people purchased. The personal income tax was supposed to be temporary, and not to exceed 2%. Yes, the joke is firmly upon the American people.

Today, the government uses taxation as a WMD (weapon of mass destruction) to obliterate individual economic freedom. Taxation today, especially with the progressive socialist leftists, is not based upon constitutional responsibilities, but rather ideological agendas. As well, the left uses taxation as a laser-guided munition to stoke societal hatred against those who work hard, and produce. And who should be surprised, after all, Sir Winston Churchill clearly defined socialism, “Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy.”

Another quote attributed to Churchill advises us of the true intentions of socialism, “Capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings and socialism is the equal sharing of misery.”

The motto of the American Constitutional Rights Union is “Live Free”…not live in misery. Equality of opportunity affords us all the blessings of economic freedom. Equality of outcomes, the socialist economic model, only ensures collective economic enslavement.
