State Trooper Arrests Suspected Illegal Immigrant With 18,000 Rounds Of Ammunition

A Wyoming state trooper pulled over Ricardo Paez-Quinones on Interstate 80 near Rawlins and discovered 18,000 rounds of high-caliber rifle ammunition and cocaine in his vehicle after a K-9 drug detection dog alerted officers. Paez-Quinones had been previously deported from the United States twice, in 2012 and 2014. He faces federal charges including being an illegal alien in possession of ammunition, which carries penalties of up to 15 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, and/or deportation.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement continued arresting illegal aliens with violent criminal records across the United States despite the federal government shutdown caused by a funding standoff. Among those arrested were Kemar Hamilton, a Jamaican national convicted of manslaughter and assault in the Bronx, and William Sierra-Galeano, a Colombian national convicted of attempted burglary in White Plains, New York. The Department of Homeland Security stated that ICE officers were continuing operations despite not receiving pay and a reported 1,000% increase in assaults against agents.

ICE Buffalo targets illegal aliens during a weeklong operation

ICE Buffalo arrested 35 individuals during a September 14–19, 2025, operation targeting immigration violators in Central New York. Among those detained were individuals with prior criminal convictions including robbery, interfering with the duties of a public servant, and weapons-related offenses. The agency stated that its officers remain dedicated to removing criminal illegal aliens from the region in fulfillment of their congressionally mandated mission.

Among those detained were individuals with prior criminal convictions including robbery and weapons-related offenses. The operation was part of ongoing ICE enforcement efforts targeting immigration violators with criminal histories in upstate New York.

ICE Arrests Worst of the Worst: Criminal Illegal Aliens Convicted of Crimes Including Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Drug Charges, DUI and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Over a two-day period, ICE arrested multiple illegal aliens with prior convictions for serious crimes across the country, including several with New York connections. Eduardo Torres-Gutierrez, a Mexican national, was convicted of assault in the Bronx, and Eduardo Pelaez-Martinez, also a Mexican national, was convicted of a criminal sexual act in Goshen, New York. Other arrests nationally included individuals convicted of indecency with a child, criminally negligent homicide by DUI, drug trafficking, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
