Media Availability: ACRU’s Blackwell on Corporate ‘Wokesters’ Reaction to Voter ID Laws

April 5th, 2021|

Naples, FL—American Constitutional Rights Union Policy Board Member Ken Blackwell castigates Georgia-based companies like Coca-Cola, Delta, and also Major League Baseball for giving into the woke mob over their unfounded objections to new ballot safeguards its state leaders passed. In his most recent article for Breitbart, he notes these companies [...]

ACRU’s Blackwell: The Left’s Hoodwinking of America

March 23rd, 2021|

In his latest blockbuster piece, ACRU Policy Board Member Ken Blackwell likens the suppression of voice and vote during the Nazi regime to the falsely named For the People's Act, proposed by liberals and awaiting Senate action. It is important that every American understand its dangerous implications and the ease in which it would usher in political corruption and totalitarian one-party rule.

ACRU’s von Spakovsky: HR1/For the People Act imperils free and fair elections

March 15th, 2021|

H.R. 1, the deceptively entitled "For the People Act," has arrived in the U.S. Senate after a party-line vote in the House of Representatives. It is without doubt the most dangerous and irresponsible election bill I have ever seen.If it becomes law, it will interfere with the ability of states and their citizens to determine the qualifications and eligibility of voters, to ensure the accuracy and validity of voter registration rolls, to secure the integrity of elections, and to participate and speak freely in the political arena.

ACRU’s Von Spakovsky: Biden’s immigration order – this is how policy will hide crimes, ignore victims

March 8th, 2021|

On his first day in the Oval Office, President Biden signed a record 17 executive orders, many of them voiding commonsense policies enacted during the Trump administration. One of the worst – and most dangerous – was his "Revision of Civil Immigration Enforcement Policies and Priorities." A more apt title would be "Providing Sanctuary for Criminal Aliens."

ACRU files two SCOTUS briefs upholding Second Amendment rights

January 21st, 2021|

ACRU recently filed two amicus briefs with the Supreme Court questioning whether lifetime bans on firearm ownership in cases where citizens were convicted of non-violent crimes is constitutional as applied. In separate cases, a woman convicted of tax fraud in 2011 and a man convicted of misdemeanor DUI in 2005 were blocked from firearm purchases after they satisfied their sentences and have been law-abiding since. In both cases, ACRU argues these convictions should not block the right of these Americans to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Walter Williams — A Warrior For Liberty!

December 3rd, 2020|

Patriot. Friend. Teacher. Student. Husband. Father. Legendary thinker. Christ follower. On this day of profound mourning for Professor Walter E. Williams, it is difficult to summarize the life and legacy of my friend with only a few words.

ACRU Action Board Member Ken Blackwell: Legislators, not jurists, are responsible for vote integrity

November 22nd, 2020|

“In Pennsylvania, there was a clear violation of Article II of Constitution that gives authority to state legislatures to set the calendar and electoral rules for the state’s voters - not the state judiciary, not the Governor, and not the Secretary of State. In other states, liberal lawsuits waved through by liberal judges usurped the power of the people by dismantling vote security measures passed by their state legislators. This must be corrected, and state legislative bodies must reclaim their authority to protect voters against fraud, political criminals and activist judges that overreach.A recent article from The Federalist, noted below, provides a few simple steps legislators can take to ensure the integrity of the election process.”

ACRU’s Professor Walter Williams: The Census is not a tool for vote fraud

November 3rd, 2020|

Noting the obvious — only US citizens can vote in US elections — ACRU Policy Board Member Walter Williams is concerned that, “counting illegal immigrants in the census undermines (the) fundamental principle that every citizen-voter has an equal voice.” It is indeed a dangerous road. Walter references Hans von Spakovky’s work in his article, and we are grateful to have them both on team ACRU.

ACRU’s von Spakovsky: Media ignores vote fraud because they know it’s real

November 3rd, 2020|

Writing for The Heritage Foundation, ACRU Policy Advisor Hans von Spakovsky calls out the media for its coverup of a giant problem — vote fraud. With examples past and present, Hans makes the case that the media is deliberately ignoring the truth about fraud and vote theft. He identifies outright lies by the media. “Journalists” may try to wish vote fraud away, but the rest of us know better.

ACRU Action’s Roman: In Leftist Land, Who Will Protect You?

September 24th, 2020|

For years, liberals have told Americans they do not need guns because the police have guns. But now many leftists advocate defunding police altogether. This brings serious public policy questions. In Leftist Land, who exactly would have guns? And who is responsible for protecting Americans?

ACRUs Blackwell: Liberal voting changes put senior votes at significant risk

September 3rd, 2020|

Nursing homes and assisted living centers where seniors might need to rely on others for voting assistance are where senior votes are at high risk for fraud, according to ACRU Action Board Member and former Cincinnati Mayor Ken Blackwell. Not only have they been targeted by fraudsters in the past, but politically motivated liberals are now trying to remove even more vote security protections.

Encouraging and protecting military votes is a civilian imperative

September 1st, 2020|

It is the responsibility of all Americans to ensure the votes of Armed Forces members away from home arrive on time and are properly counted. The time is NOW for service members to register to vote and request an absentee ballot. Registration links are included in the article.
