ACRU Action’s Roman: In Leftist Land, Who Will Protect You?
For years, liberals have told Americans they do not need guns because the police have guns. But now many leftists advocate defunding police altogether. This brings serious public policy questions. In Leftist Land, who exactly would have guns? And who is responsible for protecting Americans?
ACRUs Blackwell: Liberal voting changes put senior votes at significant risk
Nursing homes and assisted living centers where seniors might need to rely on others for voting assistance are where senior votes are at high risk for fraud, according to ACRU Action Board Member and former Cincinnati Mayor Ken Blackwell. Not only have they been targeted by fraudsters in the past, but politically motivated liberals are now trying to remove even more vote security protections.
Encouraging and protecting military votes is a civilian imperative
It is the responsibility of all Americans to ensure the votes of Armed Forces members away from home arrive on time and are properly counted. The time is NOW for service members to register to vote and request an absentee ballot. Registration links are included in the article.
ACRU Action’s Blackwell notes liberal bad behavior creates vote security risk
"The left and their chosen candidates have provided telling examples of their unwillingness to make ethical choices that protect citizens. Proving themselves willing to violate numerous critical social norms, they are unlikely to be concerned with violating just one more," states Blackwell.
Walter Williams: Leftist effort ongoing to revise US history
The destruction of historical monuments has not ceased, nor has ACRU efforts to protect them. In a new syndicated column, ACRU Policy Board Member Walter Williams notes, “a tyrant’s first battlefield is to rewrite history” and shames the left by sarcastically suggesting a “Commission to Eliminate Bad Memories.” Please read this great commentary and visit our Protect Monuments website to join us in saving our national treasures.
ACRU’s Roman: Monumental Wounds
My great-great grandfather was a hero of the Civil War--a soldier of the Ohio Cavalry who was wounded and captured. He almost died in the most notorious and horrific Confederate prisoner of war camp. As a child, each Memorial Day, I heard the stories about the War Between the States as my dad put flowers on his great granddad’s grave. The stories were not told with animosity. Just facts. But I developed my own prejudice against Southerners based on those facts.
One of These is not Like the Other
There is a critical difference between an absentee ballot and the new notion of universal vote by mail. One is proven and safe, the other is subject to incompetent processing and open to fraud. Voters and elected officials must understand the enormous difference in order to protect the security our elections.
The Supreme Court Declines to Consider Price v. Chicago
On July 2, the U.S. Supreme Court denied certiorari in the case of Price v. City of Chicago, although Justice Thomas would have granted the petition. The American Constitutional Rights Union, joined by Students for Life in America, filed an amicus brief in support of the Petitioners, who were challenging the constitutionality of a Chicago ordinance limiting the speech rights of anti-abortion protesters.
ACRU’s Blackwell: Cancel Culture’s Dual Meaning Is a War for America’s Soul
"Cancel culture” is a double entendre of the dangerous kind. It is not just about canceling individuals or entities who offend leftist activists and their myopic group of minions; it is about fundamentally canceling America.
ACRU’s Roman calls for citizens to join ACRU in protecting monuments
In a podcast interview with The Daily Signal, Lori makes critical points about mob destruction of our national treasures, and calls citizen patriots to action through ACRU’s Protect Monuments project. ACRU’s Roman: America needs honest debate about history, not lawless destruction
Public officials have the responsibility to protect America from rampaging mobs that seek to destroy monuments and demoralize Americans. The destruction is a means to an end — a Marxist reshaping of America that has little to do with protecting the lives of innocents.
ACRU’s Blackwell: Nursing home vote fraud happens, and is preventable
ACRU Action Board Member Ken Blackwell fearlessly takes on “all the fraud we cannot see” (and the fraud we can) in senior residences. Vote suppression and manipulation in these facilities is real, and a reason why ACRU created Protect Elderly Votes. Warning of union activism, and asking residence executives for help, Ken notes that the votes of our Greatest Generation are a target for fraudsters and we must protect them.
ACRU Action’s Blackwell: Vote fraud against seniors is real, organized, and preventable
Despite prosecutions and public stories identifying vote fraud activists targeting seniors, many in our media and political class continue to deny that our elderly population can be singled out for vote manipulation and suppression.
The Votes of Military Spouses Are the Heart of Freedom
The political voice of military spouses must be protected. ACRU notes that their ballots must never be lost in the mail or lost to fraud at local polling stations.
ACRU’s Spakovsky: List of proven vote fraud cases continues to grow
The Heritage Foundation keeps a record of proven, prosecuted cases of vote fraud in the United States. In May, the case number reached 1,285. Most cases have numerous fraud victims, making each a force multiplier for stolen votes. In the last ten years, there are have been at least eight cases where a candidate won with fewer than 17 votes - three where the margin was one vote. Vote fraud is real, and it matters.
ACRU Action’s President Roman: If You Can Go to the Grocery Store, You Can Go to the Polls
ACRU President Lori Roman points out that if Americans are confidently buying food and household goods in every state on a daily basis while using prudent precautions, then why are liberals insisting we can't vote in person? She blows the lid off the mail-only voting scam, calling it out as a potential for massive fraud.
ACRU Action’s Blackwell: Former Cincinnati mayor: Mayors have a duty to restore order
During COVID-19, governors, mayors and many local officials forgot about the 10th Amendment, the notion that those who govern closest govern best, and their own responsibility to those who elected them. ACRU Policy Board Member Ken Blackwell points out in this important editorial that it is indeed the purview of local leaders to take action, restore peace in their communities, and stop yelling for the feds to bail them out.
