In a bold act of defiance, Huntington Beach, California—known to many as “Surf City, USA”—has taken up arms against Sacramento’s leftist regime, filing a lawsuit against the state over its infamous “sanctuary state” law.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement along with law enforcement partners from the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration engaged in an enhanced, targeted enforcement operation that focused on criminal illegal aliens.
Three programs under 287g will allow deputies and corrections officers at jails in Florida to undergo training and be certified to serve warrants, make probable cause arrests and take part in street task forces.
