An operation between several law enforcement agencies last weekend in Harrison County resulted in the arrest of four dozen migrants who were traveling through South Mississippi and now face deportation, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.

Twenty-five illegal immigrants were arrested during a joint operation in the Pearl area of Rankin County.
According to a release, the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department and the US Department of Homeland Security Division of US Customs & Border Protection conducted a joint operation called “Operation Magnolia” along the Interstate 20 corridor within the county from March 17 to March 21.
