Dubuque County sheriff rejects ICE agreement despite pressure from sheriff’s association
The Dubuque County sheriff is telling that county’s supervisors he won’t sign an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement despite pressure from the National Sheriff’s Association that failing to do so might lead to the county being considered a sanctuary jurisdiction.



The American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) has recognized Sheriff Keith Swank of Pierce County, Washington as the recipient of ACRU’s prestigious Defender Award. This honor is awarded to law enforcement leaders who honor their constitutional oath to protect and to serve by working cooperatively with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to protect legal, law-abiding citizens from criminal illegal aliens.
