The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan announced that approximately 46 individuals in the country illegally with criminal backgrounds have been arrested and charged since January 2025. Charges brought against the individuals include drug trafficking, illegal firearm possession, child exploitation material, and illegal reentry into the United States. Several of the defendants had been previously deported and reentered the country multiple times.
