United States Announces Plans to Extradite Three Tren de Aragua Members, Who Have Been Declared Alien Enemies, Wanted by Chile for Homicide and Kidnapping Offenses

The Department of Justice announced plans to extradite three Tren de Aragua members — Adrian Rafael Gamez Finol, Miguel Oyola Jimenez, and Edgar Javier Benitez Rubio — who illegally entered the United States after allegedly committing crimes in Chile, including extortion, kidnapping resulting in homicide, and kidnapping for ransom. Based on their membership in Tren de Aragua, the three men have been declared Alien Enemies under the Alien Enemies Act. The Justice Department stated it will work expeditiously to return these individuals to Chile to face justice.
