Two Dominican nationals were arrested and charged after shooting a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer at Manhattan’s Fort Washington Park. One suspect allegedly fired the weapon, striking the officer in the face and right arm, while the second suspect drove a getaway vehicle and later helped dispose of evidence. Both were charged in connection with the attack on the off-duty federal officer.
