Three Individuals Charged with Illegal Re-Entry and Other Offenses

A federal grand jury in the Western District of Missouri indicted three individuals in separate cases for illegally reentering the United States after prior deportations. The defendants include Erik Santana-Garcia, a Mexican national facing additional charges of transporting a minor for illegal sexual activity and possession of child pornography; Romeo Perez-Bravo, a Guatemalan national who had allegedly lived under a stolen U.S. citizen identity since 2009 and been removed three times; and Andres G. Angel-Martinez, 25, found in the U.S. after removal in 2019. The cases are part of the DOJ’s Operation Take Back America initiative.
