A 48-year-old Texas man was charged with transporting explosives after allegedly purchasing fireworks and mortar devices in New Mexico while stating his intent to kill law enforcement officers during Los Angeles anti-ICE demonstrations. According to federal prosecutors, he claimed to be former special forces and told store employees he could make pipe bombs before being arrested in Arizona the following day.
