DATE
February 24, 2026
Lewistone Baez Miranda, 50, of Puerto Rico, was sentenced to 78 months (more than 6 years) in federal prison for leading a drug trafficking organization that shipped cocaine from Puerto Rico to Manchester, New Hampshire via the U.S. Postal Service. His son used fictitious information to mail packages containing cocaine — often hidden inside children’s games in 500-gram or 1,000-gram bundles — to Manchester for redistribution. Between September 2020 and December 2021, the organization shipped over 5.6 kilograms of cocaine, and Baez Miranda also sent drug proceeds back to Puerto Rico, including a parcel containing $11,000.
