Puerto Rican Man Sentenced to Nearly Five Years in Prison for Trafficking Fentanyl into Maine

Rafael Omar Ojeda Lopez, 44, from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison for trafficking fentanyl into Maine. Agents arrested Lopez in Rockland, Maine during a controlled purchase of a kilogram of fentanyl for $40,000, which was found to contain a mixture of fentanyl, caffeine, heroin, and xylazine, a powerful tranquilizer.
