Wilber Castellanos Hernandez, 33, an undocumented Mexican citizen, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to carjacking a U.S. Postal Service truck in Salt Lake City on February 5, 2024. During the incident at 594 North Redwood Road, Hernandez entered the mail truck and, when confronted by the postal employee, pointed a knife at him and threatened him and other witnesses.
