Rafael Cruz-Hernandez, a Mexican citizen, was sentenced to 8 months in federal prison for illegally reentering the United States after a prior removal. Cruz-Hernandez had previously been deported following a conviction for sexual assault in Monroe County, Wisconsin, and was found in the United States again in violation of federal immigration law.
