A federal grand jury indicted two Annapolis residents, Manuel Erazo Alvarado and Erick Guillen Pleitez, for murder in aid of racketeering in connection with a 2017 gang-related killing committed to maintain their positions within MS-13. Both defendants face either a mandatory life sentence or the death penalty if convicted.
