Two brothers from Honduras, Adin Aman Cantarero Benitez, 26, and Jose Cantarero Benitez, 20, were arrested in Missouri in connection with a series of violent carjackings. Adin allegedly shot and killed Jesse Gilmore, 63, during a carjacking, after which the brothers disposed of Gilmore’s body in a ditch along Interstate 44. The following day, Jose attempted another carjacking and shot a woman in the chest before being apprehended after a foot pursuit.
