ICE lodged detainers against three Venezuelan nationals — Yosguar Aponte Jimenez, Jose Trivino-Cruz, and Jesus Bellorin-Guzman — charged with the capital murder of 48-year-old Santiago Lopez Morales at a Motel 6 in Garland, Texas on June 20. All three had entered the U.S. illegally and were released into the country by the Biden administration via the southern border or the CBP One app. Bonds for the three suspects were set between $1.5 million and $3.25 million.
