ICE, law enforcement partners arrest more than 200 alien offenders during enhanced immigration enforcement operation in New York

ICE and federal law enforcement partners apprehended 206 individuals during a week-long targeted enforcement operation in the New York City area from April 6-12, 2025. Of those arrested, 121 had significant criminal convictions or faced charges including murder, assault, sex crimes, and drug trafficking. The operation targeted members of transnational criminal organizations including MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Sureños, and 18th Street gangs, with many arrests occurring after local jurisdictions declined to honor immigration detainers.
