David Gonzalez-Gallegos, a 40-year-old Mexican national, was arrested by ICE Houston on April 25 following his release from a Texas state prison. Gonzalez had illegally entered the U.S. three times and carried prior convictions for arson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and driving under the influence. He is currently held at the Montgomery Processing Center pending removal from the United States.
