ICE highlights arrests of 5 illegal aliens convicted of violent crimes, including against children

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested five Mexican nationals across multiple cities for prior violent crime convictions, three of whom had been convicted of sexual offenses against children, with the others facing convictions for assault and family violence. ICE data from September 2024 indicated that over 425,000 illegal immigrants with criminal convictions were present in the country. The arrests were highlighted by ICE as part of ongoing targeted enforcement operations.
