ICE filed immigration detainers against two individuals in the country illegally: a 24-year-old Honduran man facing five counts of attempted murder following an alleged shooting spree in Memphis that injured multiple people, and a separate individual arrested in New York City charged with rape and grand larceny for allegedly assaulting a corpse on a subway train. Both individuals had detainers lodged against them to allow ICE to take custody following any criminal proceedings.
