U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Detroit apprehended two criminal aliens on June 10, 2025. Ahmad Fareez Thabateh, 49, had a prior conviction for arson in Pontiac, Michigan, while Kassim Saleh Wasil, 70, had a criminal history that included second-degree murder and assault. Both individuals have final orders of removal and remain in ICE custody pending deportation.
