Previously Deported Illegal Immigrant Accused of Strangling Georgia Grandmother to Death

Hector David Sagastume Rivas, a 21-year-old Honduran illegal immigrant who was caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration in March 2021, has been charged with capital murder in the strangling death of Camillia Williams, a 52-year-old Georgia mother of five and grandmother. A judge had ordered Rivas removed in July 2023, but he remained in the country.
