ICE removed Romulus Mihai, a 33-year-old Belgian fugitive convicted of sexually exploiting a child, who entered the U.S. illegally and attempted to gain citizenship without disclosing his criminal history. He was arrested in April 2025 and turned over to Belgian authorities on July 31.
