ACRU Action Board Member Ken Blackwell: Legislators, not jurists, are responsible for vote integrity

By |2023-03-06T12:07:50-05:00November 22nd, 2020|

“In Pennsylvania, there was a clear violation of Article II of Constitution that gives authority to state legislatures to set the calendar and electoral rules for the state’s voters - not the state judiciary, not the Governor, and not the Secretary of State. In other states, liberal lawsuits waved through by liberal judges usurped the power of the people by dismantling vote security measures passed by their state legislators. This must be corrected, and state legislative bodies must reclaim their authority to protect voters against fraud, political criminals and activist judges that overreach. A recent article from The Federalist, noted below, provides a few simple steps legislators can take to ensure the integrity of the election process.”

Liberal state supreme court gives tacit approval to forgery

By |2023-03-06T12:07:55-05:00November 3rd, 2020|

On Oct. 23, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s (5:1 Democrat majority) ruled that local election officials cannot reject mail-in ballots because the voter’s signature on the ballot does not match the voter's signature on file. This is a boon for ballot harvesters, particularly those operating in senior residential facilities, as they no longer must worry about practicing stolen voter signatures before mailing stolen ballots.

Virginia – 500,000 incorrect applications send out

By |2023-03-06T12:08:17-05:00September 12th, 2020|

Elections officials in Virginia are trying to set the record straight, after absentee ballot applications with incorrect information were mailed to more than half a million residents in the Commonwealth. The confusing mailers were sent by an organization known as 'The Center For Voter Information', which identifies itself as "non-partisan and non-profit" on its website.

Election Department Employee Alerts Clerk Tina Peters to Voter Fraud Leading to Arrest

A key ACRU vote integrity message is calling for election officials to be on alert for fraud. Case in point, a Colorado official who noticed a deceased gentlemen reinstated “his” voter registration. Kudos to election coordinator Sandra Brown, whose eagle eye resulted in vote fraud charges against one Larry Talbert. Other officials take note - databases already exist for cross checking - you just have to use them.

Men Admit To Skid Row Scheme Offering $1, Cigarettes For Fraudulent Voter Registration

By |2023-03-06T12:09:05-05:00August 12th, 2020|

“Four people admitted to offering homeless people money and cigarettes in exchange for false and forged signatures on ballot petitions and voter registration forms.” Five others are awaiting trial. The slap on the wrist the confessed fraudsters received through an LA court included community service. The last place these fraudsters need to be is in the community. Vote fraud is real, and it is organized.

Dead cats voting: funny, not funny

By |2023-03-06T12:09:10-05:00July 24th, 2020|

Former Atlanta feline Cody Tims passed away in 2008 after a lifetime of service to his loving family. This cat apparently was signed on to a mailing list at one point that was then sold to vote activists (yet another mail-only voting problem.) Cody is a purrfect example of why voting lists need constant updating. It is appalling that this cat not only was a registered voter but is still a registered voter after having passed away twelve years ago.

And also, the dog ate my ballot

Tennessee officials on Friday sought an appeal and an immediate pause to a court’s ruling this week that lets all 4. 1 million registered voters vote by mail during to the coronavirus pandemic, as the state made updates to its materials to reflect the expansion. The state attorney general’s office filed the request in Davidson County Chancery Court to appeal and stay that court’s temporary injunction that expanded absentee eligibility Thursday.

Automatic voter registration adds another group of ineligibles

By |2023-03-06T12:11:50-05:00February 16th, 2020|

States with automatic voter registration systems (18 + DC) keep registering inedible voters on a daily basis, or so it seems. They call it an “accident” or a "glitch.” Last year Illinois registered 570 individuals—foreign nationals applying for drivers licenses—to vote. These 570 people even checked “no” on the citizen box. Now Illinois has admitted another problem—it’s registering 16 year old new drivers to vote. We suggest it might want to add an “I’m just a kid box.” Or event better, stop connecting getting an ID with getting to vote.

Driving is not a free pass for voting

By |2023-03-06T12:11:55-05:00January 28th, 2020|

It is apparently a surprise to Illinois election officials that when you automatically register a person to vote when they get a driver’s license—regardless of citizenship status—they might just (illegally) vote. Nearly 600 non-citizens showed up in the most recent review of Illinois 2018 votes. We love this quote from Secretary of State Henry Haupt: “A technological programming error did not properly remove the (foreign national) individuals. The individuals who are applying for driver’s licenses were inadvertently pooled into the automatic voter registration.” Did we mention that Illinois is one of fifteen (blue) states that allows illegal immigrants to receive drivers licenses? Texas: Voter fraud requires forgery

By |2023-03-06T12:12:00-05:00January 17th, 2020|

Apply to register to vote in Texas and your application needs to have your original signature. Sounds reasonable? Not according to Democrats. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee have both sued the state claiming this is just downright unfair. Eric Holder, complaining bitterly about “gerrymandering” when Republicans do it, is floating $10 million in the state to make sure redistricting turns out in the Democrats’ favor. We have to wonder — how in the world do they get away with this stuff? Let’s not let them.
