Ms. Elizabeth Ward Nottrodt likes to write letters to the editor, and for that we are grateful. We like to circle back to first principles at ACRU, and Ms. Nottrodt’s latest Washington Times letter on foundational property rights vs. anti-rule of law destructive Marxism is right on the money. Property rights rule no. 1? “Don’t touch other peoples’ stuff.”
The ACRU joined the Pacific Legal Foundation in filing an amicus brief, urging the Supreme Court to grant Brott v. United States, a case about whether property owners are entitled to a jury when the federal government takes their land.
While an overzealous regulatory agency may be old news to many of us, the PTAB presents a clear constitutional problem in my view.
