Pennsylvania Supreme Court ends school mask mandate

This decision was handed down by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Dec. 10. It ruled that Acting Health Secretary Allison Beam did not have authority to issue a mask mandate for everyone indoors at schools and child care centers. Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, a Republican who is running for governor, filed the lawsuit personally, along with other parents.
