FL—On January 13, American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) asserts that the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers have shucked the Constitution. ACRU sent a letter to University of Nebraska Chancellor Ronnie Green demanding he rescind unconstitutional and invasive mandatory COVID-19 testing on UN-Lincoln campus and restore students’ rights to freedom of movement and medical privacy. January 13, 2021 Chancellor Ronnie Green Office of the Chancellor University of Nebraska-Lincoln 1400 R Street Lincoln, NE 68588 Re: Enhanced COVID Safety Measures for Spring 2021 Dear Chancellor Green: I am writing on behalf of American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU) in conjunction with Students for Liberty, which has an organized student chapter on your campus and on campuses around the world. ACRU is an organization committed to defending the constitutional rights of every American, including students. As you are aware, as a public institution, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is obligated to act within the confines of the Constitution and protect the rights of every one of [...]
The first right in America’s first founding document is “life.” Yet Los Angeles County is instructing paramedics to withhold treatment and hospital transport from COVID patients perceived as in end stages of life. This is morally reprehensible for the patient—and for paramedics who dedicate their lives to saving others, and should not be forced to make decisions of who lives or dies. This puts LA in its own hideous class of COVID crisis tyrants.
ACRU recently defended an Anne Arundel, MD pastor fined by the health department for not wearing a mask in an empty building. Now a local judge is questioning county officials about their desire to put local restaurants out of business. Restaurants have paid lobbyists and lawyers; churches don't. We hope local courts will take notice of their loss of liberty as well, soon, even without the paid influence.
As crisis tyrants continue to target churches, and liberals call peaceful protestors “treasonous,” where should we stand on civil disobedience? This article by our friend Larry Reed at FEE is just as relevant now as it was when he wrote it in May — in fact, more so. If our liberty comes from our Creator, and therefore cannot be abridged by man, then where better to start with peaceful civil disobedience than in defense of religious liberty?
My goal today is, first, to present the facts about how deadly COVID-19 actually is; second, to present the facts about who is at risk from COVID; third, to present some facts about how deadly the widespread lockdowns have been; and fourth, to recommend a shift in public policy.
New York City officials have issued 62 fines totaling $150,000 for violations of COVID-19 rules, city officials said on Sunday. Source: NYC gave out $150,000 in fines to COVID rule-breakers over the weekend
Un-masked Mom fully distanced with her own family in bleachers. Bullying cop pulls her up and tases her for not wearing a mask. No matter what your position on masks, this is a DISGRACE and another example of Crisis Tyrants in action.
This story gave us chills. It proves what ACRU and our supporters have noted for months -- vote fraud is not just rampant — but organized. Voting in person is the solution to making sure someone doesn’t slap a strip over duct tape over YOUR vote by fraudulently submitting others. We fear this unprecedented admission of felony vote tampering is just the tip of a very disturbing iceberg. As Lori says, “be a VIP!.”
The liberal governor of Nevada unilaterally decided casinos could hold thousands of people and churches (regardless of capacity) could only have 50. Liberal Supreme Court justices and Chief Justice Roberts threw religious freedom under the bus by agreeing. But a group of worshipers found a workaround to exercise their Constitutional rights. Perfect. Brilliant.
